How to Choose the Right Length of CNC Wood Lathe Machine
CNC wood lathes have different processing lengths, such as 1200mm, 1500mm and 2000mm. Many buyers choose the wrong size, resulting in unable to process workpieces or waste machine space.
The 1200mm wood lathe is the most classic and universal model. It is suitable for processing most conventional furniture parts, including chair legs, table legs, small stair columns and craft products. It is the best choice for small workshops and new beginners.
The 1500mm wood lathe can process longer workpieces, suitable for long stair balusters, high cabinet columns and longer furniture legs. It balances working range and floor space, very popular in medium-sized furniture factories.
The 2000mm or larger wood lathe is designed for super-long wooden parts processing, suitable for large stair handrail columns, large decorative columns and special customized long workpieces. It is mainly used for large-scale professional woodworking factories.
When selecting machine length, you should take your maximum workpiece length as the standard and reserve a small margin. Do not buy too large equipment for only small workpieces, which will increase unnecessary cost and occupy workshop space.
